Hi. Thanks for stopping by! I’m so glad that you landed on this page. I’m Lisa of Troy, and this is my cat, Bill. Together, we are taking on the world, one book at a time.
I like to read anything with good storytelling, fiction or nonfiction. My favorite author is Philip Pullman, and my favorite book is Girl One by Sara Flannery Murphy followed closely by Walden by Henry David Thoreau. My favorite reading technique is immersion reading.
If I could travel anywhere, it would be to London/Oxford. Just imagine me on a Sherlock Holmes tour, skipping along Charing Cross Road, strolling by CS Lewis’s house, or retracing Lyra’s steps from His Dark Materials. My second dream literary vacation would be Boston/Concord, Massachusetts. Walden Pond! Need I say more? Plus, Concord is where Little Women was penned. And Boston is supposed to have one of the country’s best libraries. Oh to be a dreamer!

When he was brought home for the first time, Bill hid behind a book authored by a man named Bill. I asked him, “Do you want to be called Bill?” Meow. And that is how he came to be called Bill. Yes, Bill is named after an author!
Bill enjoys watching programs and napping. He is especially fond of The Dropout, the Hulu miniseries focused on Elizabeth Holmes.
Although he knows his name, Bill chooses to ignore those calling him most of the time.
When Bill wants to play, he will drag around his toys and leave them at your feet.
Bill was born in South Haven, Michigan.
He has a cat water fountain, and he only likes dry cat food. He will spit out the food that he does not like on the floor.
Bill is a Russian Blue and is hypoallergenic. He loves fuzzy blankets.
